Chapter One
The soldier slowly crept through the underbrush, his M16 slung over his shoulder. He was dressed in dark camouflage, and was fully decked out with face paint night vision goggles. His task was simple, get some quick pictures and quickly hop the border to America. The only catch was there would be no Special Operations Task Force to come and rescue him if he messed up.
When he entered the valley, he slowly scanned the ridges for any enemy soldiers, then continued crawling along. Like always, he took the greatest of precautions. The Marine was continually aware of his ever changing surroundings, he could hear the deer just off to his right, and the wild boar scampering away from the ever faster beating of paws on the tough, hard-packed terrain. What he failed to notice was the faint smell of a cigarette coming from a completely enclosed pack of rocks.
