Two brothers have an awesome adventure in Alaska.
“Mmmm, Mom, that meat loaf was awesome,” said Freddy.
“Yes, agreed,” said Joe, “and that corn was phenomenal.”
Ring, Ring, Ring. “I got it,” Joe yelled pushing Freddy out of the way. After about a half an hour Joe came back to the table. He looked Freddy solemnly in the eyes and said “We have to leave now…to get there by morning.”
“Where are we going?” asked Freddy.
“To the airport,” said Joe.
“Wait, Why?” asked Freddy standing up and grabbing Joe on the shoulder.
“Trouble,” Joe said, “In Alaska. The Commander just called and said we have to meet him in front of the A-7 ten o’clock morning flight.”
“Wait a second,” said Freddy. “Mom, if it’s not too much trouble can we spend the night here?”
“Sure you can, babe,” said Mrs. Laxner.
“Thanks, Mom,” said Joe.
Freddy and Joe were perfect for the expedition. They are the best of the best. Freddy is a 20 year old explorer and his brother Joe a 25 year old explorer. Freddy and Joe are both very experienced explorers.
At eight o’clock the next morning, Freddy and Joe checked to make sure they had everything for the expedition.
“Sleeping bag?” whispered Joe.
“Check,” whispered Freddy.
“Tent?”
“Check.”
“Flint and steel?”
“Check.”
“Compass? Snow Shoes? Canteen?”
“Check, check, check.”
“Weapons?”
“Check”
“Extra ammunition and climbing gear?”
“Check and check.”
It was ten to nine when they finished packing and Mrs. Laxner’s alarm clock went off. They all got ready and were in the car on the way to the air port to take off at the A-7 ten o’clock morning flight.
“Good to have you back,” said the commander.
“I wish I could say the same,” said Freddy.
“Abnocios as always,” said the commander.
“I am not abnocios,” said Freddy under his breath.
“Anyway,” said Joe “Why did you call in such short notice?”
“Well Joe you know the people who went on our Alaska operation?” asked the Commander.
“Yes, what about them?” asked Freddy
