A very recognisable character in a world where opinions are manipulated by a media company. Overstimulation, misinformation and censorship (in a very literal way) suppress the population into living the mundane lives of bottom level consumers.
Out of the calm blackness of sleep were summoned the numbers 7:30 and a high pitched chirp in the ear made Tyler spring upright in his bed. For a second there was a circular loading bar in front of him and then his launch page unfolded in front of his eyes. It was customized with widgets and a background that represented himself.

Images began to pop up in front of him. Tyler panicked and closed all of them in a flurry of arm movements in fear of his mother walking in. “Going to work Tyler?” In her usual whining tone
“Yes mother” He replied sulkily
“Well how about saying goodbye to your old mother eh?”
“I thought you were asleep”
“Oh no, I was just watching Foxfast morning news on my IC”
“Ok that’s great, I’m going to get going now”
“Hey Tyler”
“What?”
“What is it you do again?”
“Um, I don’t… well, lots of things. I earn money alright, they tell me to do things and I earn money!” He was ashamed of himself for shouting
