Traveling story.
In a dark, dark tunnel on a dark night in a dark, dark box lived … MICE. A family of mice named Ruth, Ben, Jeff, Bob, Jane, Agie, Mum, Dad and Grandma. Now, if you think mice are not smart then you are very wrong. It was an unusually cold morning of spring and the Sharp family were beginning to wake, but there was one member of the family who was already awake. Agatha (or Agie) was packing her bags. She was going to run away. She was going to run over mountains and see Hollywood.
She was going to London to see the Big Ben. She was going to the Great Barrier Reef. Agie had it all planned out. First, she would go through the back door (so she wouldn’t wake everyone up). She then would walk over the mountain to America; after she had been to Hollywood she would walk over the mountain to England. After that she would catch the Ferris wheel to the Great Barrier Reef. Her plan was perfect, simple, easy. Agie walked out the back door and headed for the mountain ahead. She was sure that one was to America. Agie walked and walked and walked but the mountain just looked bigger and bigger and bigger with every step.
She was lost, alone and scared. Agie walked over to the corner of the alley and sat there, every part of her body aching (especially her legs). She managed to make a bed out of an old banana peel. Agie lay there scared that a street cat would come. She heard a noise heading her way. She bolted upright. “Who’s there?” she shrieked. “Agie. Agie. Is that you? Thank goodness.” The voice was Ruth’s. She was saved. Agie thought she might wait a few years before she went on her
