One evening night, Shelly could not sleep, something inside her telling to be awake. Tog…A low bang near on her window. She went outside and then she saw…  little robin lying on the ground, very weak and striving to survive… She went back with a cloth and quickly wrap around her. It was a small robin drop on the ground above her window. Therefore, she took care of the little robin. Everytime she came home right after school, she never forgets to feed her. Until such time, her little robin becomes strong and healthy. Hop…Hop…flew…flew…around her cage…Then one day, when Shelley woke up…tweet…tweet…tweet. Robin chirp. She did stop chirping.  Shelley ran to her robin and…Mom…Mom…robin is singing…did you hear that…Her mom just smile…honey, have you look outside yet.  Shelley’s eye was wide and bright…She could not believe winter is almost over now. She hates winter because she could not play outside but now it is over, she can go biking with her friends. She run outside and she could smell the scent of fresh breeze. She can fell the warm that coming from the sun. Ices are melting, trees are sprawling, flowers bloom even the birds up on the trees, she could hear them singing. It was my first spring ever… she lies down on the grass trying to feel the heat of the sun… Shelley…its lunch time now, can you help me fixing the table please, would you mine…you’re a little too long outside dear…Yes mom…coming…By  then, she remember little robin…after having lunch with her  mom she went back outside..Going to robin’s cage…there… robin never stops chirping. Shelley realizes that little robin want to go out, she misses her mom and dad…and friends too…She wants to see the first day of spring too. She brought robin’s cage outside and open her cage…Come… I want to set you free…I want you to see what wonderful the lord god give us. I know you misses your mom and dad so much…fly now… and when it winter’s again you can come back, I will take care of you…And so…little robin fly …fly…fly up high..
