A story about Anakin Starwalker and his adventures in the Pheonix.

Flight of the Pheonix, Part I

“Is she ready yet?” asked Anakin Starwalker.

“No!” yelled back Hank the mechanic. Anakin had been asking if his ship was ready for three hours, and Hank was about to do something drastic if he didn’t stop asking soon. Luckily, he was almost done repairing Anakin’s ship, the Pheonix. Named after the bird that burst into flames when it died and rose again from the ashes, the ship was almost the same. Every other week Anakin would bring it back for repairs after an attack by the Rebel Alliance, of which he was a member. The attack would always come on Hank’s day to work, and the order list was always overflowing from both sides of the conflict. One time he even had to repair a few Star Destroyer cannons, which he rigged to explode out of sympathy for the Alliance. That backfired when they killed his family and he had to join the Alliance as a full member.

“Now?” asked Anakin.

“YES!!!!!!” yelled Hank.

Anakin ran into the room, started up the ship, and flew off to his next mission on Dantooine. Once he got to the cruiser he was supposed to be on, he went to his room and slept. When he woke up, Freedom One, his cruiser, was under attack. He ran to his fighter and flew into the battle. Once in the battle, he took out two TIE fighters before being hit by a stray ion blast and passing out.
