The start of an adventure of five kids that create a game. A virtual reality game that they find takes them places they never thought they could do, perhaps an alternate universe.

The Game:

Main characters:

Omar 8 ½: video games are his life.

Pacey 7: computer graphics are his life, thinks he is a hero.

Rita 10 ½: programming is her life

Mel 11 ¾: loves to read

Ember 9: has written about Galdoria her entire life, takes her cue from J.R.R

Ember: She came up with the idea for the game.  But she doesn’t have the technical know-how to bring it to life.   She is only user friendly when it comes to computer. Usually a loner because she has the greatest imagination there ever was.  She decided it was absolutely necessary to create the world she dreamed and into a way she could actually step inside.  Anything that advanced had yet to be created though.  Yes video games were extremely popular and got more advanced by the year.  None were the reality she dreamed about.  The expert computer genius team she hoped to create would be children around her age and that understood the amazing feat she hoped to accomplish.  With 21 volumes and more being thought about every day, the Galdorian world is more than involved.

Rita: Has a brother named Mel that was the laziest person she knew but only because he was so brilliant, nothing he ever did took effort.  He’d quickly come up with the most efficient way to do something.  He wasn’t interested in being challenged like Rita. She was a computer programmer at the young age of 9.  The most in depth programming schemes were nothing to her.  But she liked a challenge. This way of thinking made her a genius in math and science and most importantly any subject she found remotely interesting she needed to become an expert at it. The challenge was she only gave herself one week to master a subject.  All the computer games Mel played Rita created but she wasn’t the most creative color in the box. She did basic scenarios in games and therefore they were never challenging but still she at least tried.
