She had opened up her system and had launched the text pad, her favorite form of stationery to start working on: no pretenses, no colors, no reproachful underlines to point out your errors and no irritating gem clips, dogs and cats, and with all due respect, no Einstein, to assist you in earning your bread and butter.

‘This is going to be the best piece of my work ever!’ she thought happily! She couldn’t believe the fact that she had hit on such a marvelous plot.

When she had informed them, the publishers were astounded to hear such a fabulous idea for the novel and they had wanted her to start working on it immediately!

The plot had popped up into her mind out of the blue, vivid and colorful, breathtakingly suspenseful with an unbelievable end, like the bright burning after noon sunshine, abruptly turning into a whirlpool of thunderstorm and torrents!

The depth, emotions and the shades of the novel had been circling in her mind all thro’ the day: her hands were itching to waltz around the computer keyboard!

She had opened up her system and had launched the text pad, her favorite form of stationery to start working on: no pretenses, no colors, no reproachful underlines to point out your errors and no irritating gem clips, dogs and cats, and with all due respect, no Einstein, to assist you in earning your bread and butter!!!! Just a simple and plain white sheet to cast your thoughts upon!

The editing sessions shall follow in any way! The reading and re-reading of the words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs: an addition here and a subtraction there, the search for the perfect word somewhere down the line… the process would go on and on, till she feels sapped up, wanting to lie down or to die out happily! She would then wrap up her work for that day, with the contentment of having taken a few more steps towards the culmination of her project!

She would return to the script the next day, the days following the next day, reading it time and again, polishing it lovingly by pushing in a sparkling word here and pulling out the dead drab of line from there, till the time she feels that the particular chapter is ready for the publishers.

It has always been easy for her to start with the first word, the words, the sentences and the paragraphs when she starts writing something; at times the flow from her mind shall become so furious that her hands would find it difficult to cope up with her mind!

Some days she would draw a blank, touching on the keys of her keyboard with fondness and would wait for the inspiration to come! When she could manage only a sentence and a phrase, nothing more satisfying, she would close down the shop and start concentrating on the other essential aspects of her life and living!
