Loss of logic.

It was the last day that Darby had been warned not to be late for work. He worked in an office with thirty other employees. They developed maintained over five hundred business accounts of advertising and information technology for the cooperate world. Darby was the geek extraordinaire. His knowledge of the technological industry was superior to that of any challenge. And why his boss Larry Page gave him a workload to equal that of four people, and taking some of the pressure off of him.

Darby’s drive to work was always; leave home with plenty of time, and allow for any traffic problems that may happen. Almost every morning there were problems with traffic. Aggressive drivers cutting him off, honking horns for no good reason, and failing to yield any right of way made Darby’s nightmare into a day mare, and late again. Forty five minutes to find a shortcut to work. He was always a good driver, and never had a ticket of any sort in his fifteen years of driving.

On this particular morning, after he was assured by his boss that he would get fired if he’s late again, suddenly the flow of traffic slowed to almost a complete stop. The backup begin about ten mile ahead, as far as Darby could see. He scanned the radio stations to find out what happened. The report was, a five car pileup and the delay was about one or two hours.

Darby called the office. The secretary Marge answered after one ring.

“Good morning, Doome & Sons Enterprise” she said

                        “Marge, its Darby” he said.

Before she could say anything, he had only one thing on his mind, To know if he lost his job. So he asked Marge.

“Marge is Larry there yet?” he said
