The Goodness Of Faith

“Life is not always a bed of roses”. Let us face the fact that we all have our trials amidst our unpredictable human nature.  During those turbulent moments, we felt helpless and desperate because everything seems to be against our plans and ways.  As a result, we end up frustrated and devastated with our ‘irresolvable conflicts in our lives.

Let me share with you my very own story wherein my faith has been put to a scrutiny by the Supreme Being. I was born with a disability known as “cerebral palsy.  Due to my genetic condition, the lower part of my body was severely affected which became a setback for me because I will not be able to walk for the rest of my life making me wheelchair bound.  However, this disability of mine did not stop me from pursuing my college education. Lucjkily, through the unconditional love and motivation of my grandparents, I was able to graduate with flying colors earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

After graduation, I felt so unhappy, lonely and lifeless.  I cannot apply for a high – paying job due to my physical condition.  Therefore, I began to ask the existence and goodness of the Almighty One.  Joblesss and financially unstable, I have to think of a way to help our family to sustain our daily subsistence.  I have prayed so hard every night asking God’s guidance and enlightenment. 

He answered me in no time.  A friend of mine had asked me to help him with his academic thesis.  This friend of mine paid me more than I had expected.  He gave me a second hand  desktop computer which I am using right now to do my online writing jobs.  Likewise, with the help of my generous and loving friends my finances had bounced back from falling below the depths leading to bankruptcy.

Now, I enjoy writing for various websites sharing my knowledge on some topics of which I think will help them conquer their fear of learrning and being rejected by others  God is truly a Loving Father who carried me in the trying times of my life leading towards victory and freedom from isolation and self – pity
