i began to feel nervous as i waited for Equilibrio to speak. He stayed silent for a long time. i was never a patient  person but there was some thing about Equilibrio that stopped me from pestering him; some sort of power radiating from him. I felt some sort of power inside me as well. it was like a second heart but somewhat different from the life sustaining organ. This was like a pulsating energy inside.

“Lossst in thoughtsss are we??” came the ever so awful voice.

“Its just alot to absorb so quickly.”

” i understand. Well you must be wondering why i’ve singled you out Jason. Well jason being an elite guardian come certain responsibilitiesss. You, Jason have been named head guardian on vida pais. you are the authority for all guardians. Every guardian answers to you, but answer to me. Keep that mind at all times. Also you have alot of power now. Use it wisely.”

I sensed that that was the end of our talk and in the next second i too was teleported back home.

…some hours later

I slowly opened my eyes and surveyed my surroundings and hoped that everything thing had been a dream. i got up, went to the bathroom, did whatever was necessary and got ready for school. I went downstairs for breakfast and realized that everything had not been a dream after all. There on the chairs sat my mom and dad and on my mom’s head protruded 2 red horns and above my dad’s head floated a golden halo.

“Good morning Colin. Did you sleep well?” came my mom’s voice.

“Jennifer just get to the point. Collin who have you taken on, youre mom’s demonic side or my angelic side?”

“I’m a guardian, the perfect balance between good or evil, atleast thats what equilibrio said.”

“OK well…umm thats good.” said my mom with a dissapointed tone.

“OK i’m off to school. See you guys later.”

As i walked to school, i realized i had never used my powers. i decided to test it out. Before i could test my powers i saw the time and saw i was really late. An idea struck me. The next second i was sitting at my desk in school. Teleportation was awesome!

Everyone around me also had been affected by the drama of heaven and hell with many sprouting new features like a red pointy tail or a reddish glow about them or a whitish glow about them or the fact that they were walking on air or flying about.
