‘We need more money’ said Tommy, who was strolling up and down the now very much quiet and dirty street.

‘But how’ replied Ben, ‘we cant get any job as no-one will let us in’ he replied.

‘We need a miracle’ said Tim the youngest of the three brothers.

The only food they had left was half a subway roll they had found in the bin. But their water supply was not good as they only had three bottles of water and they were all nearly gone.

‘There is only one thing for it’ said Tommy,

‘What’ said Tim,

‘Suicide’ replied Tommy.

‘Don’t say that’ said Ben, ‘we need to think of a logical way to solve our situation’.

They all thought for a moment and only one thought came to mind.

‘Should we try Arizona cave?’ said Tommy.

Arizona cave was supposed to be haunted as whoever went in their never came out but there was a rumour that there was great treasures inside.

The boys weighed up their options,

‘I think we should go’ said Tim. ‘there isn’t a better option.

The others knew that he was right but did not want to think about going there.

‘Tim is right’ said Tommy ‘we have to go we have no other choice’ said Tommy, and with that they ventured out.

The three boys left their old home behind them and set of to the cave. When they were younger they been their once before so they knew which direction to head in.

On the start of the journey they walked down some old streets with people like them sleeping on benches or outside a closed shop.

But as they got further through the journey the landscape became more urban and they were soon walking across fields or crossing country roads.

Soon they made it do the dark cave entrance and there they waited for a while.

‘The sooner the better’ said Tommy and with that they ventured inside……………….

Bats lurked in the shadows and they could sense thousands of tiny insects the smell was the worst part by far as it stank of bat droppings. Just when they thought that there was nothing there, in the distance they saw a small pale light. It got brighter even though they were not walking towards it.

Suddenly there was a hissing sound and the light extinguished. For a moment it was silent and then…………

‘hello’ said a voice, the brothers could see someone walking towards them he was a tall lanky man who looked about 30 years old.

‘lets go outside’ he said. And they walked out to the light.

‘Hi’ he said ‘my name is Edon, I come from the future. ‘It was all because of a wrong science experiment’. ‘Now, who might you be?’

‘I am Tommy’ said Tommy.

‘I am Tim’ said Tim.

‘I am Ben’ said Ben.

‘ Do you have any money?’ They said together.

‘No’ said Edon, ‘But I have a memory that will come in handy, let me show you.

Edon took the three brothers to his house, which they located by walking down the country road to an old cottage. Luckily Edon had a key, which he took from the future.

‘These are all my inventions’ said Edon ‘I got the idea  from myself if you no what I mean from time travel.

‘What is this?’ said Tommy,

‘This I am calling a computer’ said Edon who pointed to a square box and a flat square. ‘ The way I got the money to build the thing that transported me back in time was to sell my inventions’ he said.

That was exactly what happened Edon helped the children survive as they got rich from selling Edons inventions and they got enough money to live a happy life.
