A romantic time together for a husband and wife.

Bob Anderson was not a barber, the scissors felt clumsy in his hands. The hair seemed to have a mind of its own heading in every direction. He took the hair in his fingers and tugged it straight and then a little clump fell to the floor. The first cut was the most difficult mainly because of the awkwardness. He did not want to leave the hair awkward or misshapen. He looked again at the picture in the magazine and then back at his wife. “Are you sure about this honey? “ He asked for the 4th time. “Yes dear, I trust you, I want you to make me as beautiful as the girl in the magazine.”
Bob took a deep breath and studied the picture. I have never done this before I hope I don’t screw it up. Don’t beauticians go to school for like 6 months or something. Don’t worry honey I find this very romantic if you screw it up I am confident it will all grow back just fine. Bob blew a little lock of hair that had drifted into the tangled mess. “Oh Bobby, that is so romantic.” Coo’d Deborah, not looking up from the romance novel gripped tightly in her fingers.
I need one of those brushes the barber uses to get the hair off the neck. “There is a make up brush in the drawer. I have never used it, but it is very soft and should work for that, don’t you think?” said Deborah. Bob fumbled in the drawer until he found a wooden handled brush with soft brown bristles. “Oh these are soft. What kind of brush is that?” Asked Bob. “That is Capra my dear now get back over here and finish my hair cut.” Said Deborah. “do you want to look?” Said Bob. “not until you are done dear I have another chapter in my story and I would like to finish it, so please just get on with the cut.”Said Deborah as she turned the page. “ok Ma’am” said Bob, returning to the work at hand.
