A quartet that comes together and becomes happy.

There were once four instruments that were sad because nobody appreciated their playing. They were all performing by themselves.

The tiny violin said, “People don’t like my playing because all that they can hear is a melody that is not pleasant to the ears because it is too high.”

The chubby viola said, “People don’t like my playing because I cant play a melody at all.  All I can play are harmonies because my strings are to low-pitched.”

The big cello said, “People don’t like my playing because I have too much of a vibrating sound with a versatility of pitches that confuse people when played too much.”

The huge bass said, “People don’t like my playing because I am too low of a pitch to play a melody or a harmony.  All I can do well is keep the beat.”

Once, all of the performers were in the same town performing, trying to please people and they heard each other.  They said that people did not appreciated their playing either.  They all became friends and played in a concert together.  They sounded really good and everybody like them.  They decided to travel as a group.  They were all happy!
