Frigg was a prophet goddess, but unfortunately that did not help her to save her son who’s only weakness became the death of him, when his brother, who happened to be blind, threw a mistletoe at him, killing him. Lokey was ultimatly responsible for his death as he shapeshifted conning Frigg into telling him what her sons weakness was.
Women who were unable to concieve sought the blessing of Frigg so that they could have a child. The meaning of her name is “beloved one”. Her father was Fjorgynn, standing for male figure of the earth. She and her husband had 2 sons: Balder and hodr.
She was a wonderful mother and a natural homemaker, which counts as her strengths, her only weakness is not being able to saver her son.
