A window blind can be made by either wood,steel or plastic. It can either be hand operated or machine operated. It looks like a thin ladder and it can let sunlight enter or it can cover it up.

History           

We use blinds in our everyday lives but, we never wonder who created them. According to my research, blinds were being used even before recorded history! One of the recorded mentions of the use of blinds were from the Egyptians. What do they have? Tada!! Bamboo shades!! They weave the bamboo together to make blinds!! How wonderful to think that an invention invented more than 1000 years ago is still being used and its design altered!!
