Three young and adventerous college students decide to go on a camping trip in California. Yet on the way there they discover of an ancient hidden artifact, their camping trip turns into a treasure hunt. Will they succeed?

All the archaeology students at Stanford were the same.  They had never been out of the country, but they all aspired to.  They all expected to go to a remote place in the world and find the next big treasure.  Yet none of them even had a hint of an idea of how to do so.  All but one, Dan Weathers.  On the outside Dan looked like every other archaeologists in his class, but on the inside he had the real ambition to find something truly amazing.  Even as a kid he was always in his backyard digging holes trying to find buried treasure.  He was able to expand his search further when his family moved out into the country when Dan was in high school.  Not only did he have more room outside to explore, the space in his head dedicated to exploration also expanded.  On Friday nights when Dan’s friends were out partying he was at home or in some field with lights set up and surveying the land for hidden treasures.

So it was no surprise to anyone when Dan decided to attend Stanford and study archaeology.  Stanford was atop his list when applying to schools because some of the most famous new age explorers had studied there.  He figured something there must be different from other schools, and that is why it churned out so many great archaeologists.  Yet Dan did not come from a wealthy family, he had to grind every free moment of his life to earn money to pay for tuition and other expenses.  He held a job at a suit store only 5 blocks from his dorm so he was able to walk there and had no need for a car.

“Yo Dan you have class today?”

“No, but the professor wants to meet with everyone in his class for a few minutes this afternoon, why?”

“Damn, I wanted to go on a camping trip with you and Jimmy.”

“Well Nick cant we just go tomorrow?” Asked Dan
