An old man and his journey to hell.

The old man opened the heavy gate and stepped into the depths of hell itself, it was hotter than the sun and the smell of sulphur over powering making the old man clinch his nose to continue the hazardous journey towards his final goal. The rock path was rugged and crumbling. The old man stumbled on, further and deeper into the stomach of the Earth itself, forever determined to reach his goal of the afterlife, he was tired from a full life and just wanted to rest, but still continued onwards to reach the end he needed, he wanted so badly. As he journeyed onwards the desperation grew like the cancer that had ended his life. ‘Will this never end’, he thought to himself as he tok a look over the ledge to see his destination nowhere to be see. Yet even that could stop him, on he walks and still he walks, forever walking, never stopping, goal nowhere in sights.
