A short story about a king that is willing to do anything…

There was once a king that had 10 servants he really loved. One day one of  the servants came and asked him, “king, why do you always treat us with such respect, kindness, and love, even though we are your insignificant servants.” The king answered “because you are my loyal servants and i have picked you up from the dust and mud so that you can all be part of my kingdom.” The servants stood quiet and in awe by the response. He replied “most people outside the kingdom think of us as just mere slaves, but we know that as long as we serve you O mighty king we will have happiness.

Then one day a group of savages came into the royal palace and took the ten servants hostage in order to hurt the king. The group of people were once a part of the kings royal army and banished them because they worshipped themselves and not the kings. When the morning came the king woke up in tears and sorrow. He saw that his servants were gone.

The group of savages left a letter in one of the servants room. The letter read ” Dear King Sucker!!! we have taken your ten beloved servants as hostages and we will kill them if you dont give us your only begotten son. But we wont harm your servants just yet, we will give them everything you didnt give them so that they may lose interest in you and eventually forget you. Until BAMM!! we kill them.”

The king was in  so much pain that He fell to his knees. But without hesitation he asked His son to go over to where the group of poeple were. His son also loved the servants as much as His father so He said ” i will do it.” Then the King took the words back and said “wait, no, dont go!” and the son said “Father i must go because i already have You, and I will always love You no matter what, but the servants can forget You.
