A condensed/short story.
In the middle of a Alaskan forest lived an man who nobody had ever met, but everyone knew about. His name was Benjamin Jackson. The legend was that Ben was a great hunter, and farmer, but became a recluse because of his hero status. The only thing is he didn’t mind being a hero, but he did mind how e became that hero/
Ben was once on a hunting trip with his cousins, and some friends when a group of drunken hunter decided to pick a fight with the group. They tied the Ben, and the men up whilst they raped the women. Ben had gotten loose, and tracked the men for over a day through snow to ensure it never happened again.
The group of drunken men though had come back to cover their tracks, but none of the group they had attacked where to be found. One by one each of Ben’s group where able to get to safety, but two of the women where caught, and one of them had happened to be Ben’s girlfriend.
Angered by this Ben took some guns, and his two dogs to hunt the men down. He had done this so many times before, but this time he had to shoot men. Ben started of at the men’s camp. He hid in a cave just above the camp, and with his rifle picked four men off. None of them knew what was going on at all. Confused the other men at the camp frantically tried to find the man who was shooting at them.
Ben waited in the cave until morning hoping he wouldn’t be found, and he wasn’t. The men never realised that the cave would be accessible seeming it was so high up, but being a local hunter Ben knew the passage only a handful of people knew of to get to the part of the cave he was in.
The other men returned to the camp after searching for Ben, and Ben again picked off one man at a time. A silencer does help on a gun Ben thought a Christmas present his nephew gave him a few years ago. Only ten men left he thought. Surely they can’t be stupid enough to stay at the camp? Ben left the cave, and ran to a local outpost that the local police used to sleep in. He knew nobody would be there due to such heavy snow, and radioed the police station to get back up.
