I was wondering what it would be like to be a ham sandwich so I wrote this..

Hours had passed and he woke up lying there next to Tate.  Still Feeling bad about loosing her, he noticed the key again he reached for it as he picked it up, he got a surge of energy.  He got up and began walking not knowing where he was going, his feet went out to the yard and kept taking him to the woods.   They stopped at a bush he looked around and saw something in the bush as he reached down he had a feeling the he was going to find something important, he grabbed the box and sat down to open it.

He reached in and pulled out a book; on the cover it read The Rules. As he thumbed through it he began to realize what had been going on, he knew that she was a gift to him but that as soon as the “job” was done then she would have to go.   He still didn’t know why it was so soon but figured that more than 100 years had passed and that it had been a long time.  As he was reading the rule book and was reminded about the journal that she kept.  He jumped to his feet and ran into the house he found the journal next to the figure that had once been a living being.  He picked it up and began to read.  Tate had written a lot over the years.  From her writing he knew she was a happy person who loved Jebous very much, she had written about the times they had and spent together playing with the animals in the forest.  As he read it he began to feel more and more sad and missed her even more.  She had written about how Jebous slept and ate.  The journal was very detailed.

Reading the journal he found that she knew about her time of passing, and that she had a life force that she was kind of in control of.  He came to a few blank pages and then he came to, “The Life and death of a ham sandwich.” He began to read the story.
