I was wondering what it would be like to be a ham sandwich so I wrote this..

They entered the house and saw dinner sitting on the table, the man asked Tate “How does this happen?”  “Everything is provided for us.  All we do is spend time together.”  They ate the food that was provided magically and talked a bit, about each other.  Jebous told Tate how he used to make the stuff that was around his house.  She sat there with her big beautiful eyes soaking it all in.  Listening to how when he was younger he used to be so lively and enjoy cruising with his friends.  He told her about how he met his wife and the time they spent together.  Finally he asked her what she wanted to do.  She suggested going for a walk.

They went walking and kept talking.  They both admired the area, there were trees everywhere, birds chirping and animals running about.  “I haven’t spent much time just looking around and taking in the scenery.  This is wonderful.  All I ever did was gather wood, bark and stuff to make things.”  She told him that they would be able to do this all the time.  But that she had to do something, she had a goal or quest that she had to accomplish, during her time with him.  He asked her what it was but she couldn’t tell him.  It was one of the rules.

They returned to the house just as the sun went down below the horizon.  It was still light enough to see so they sat on the porch and watched as the light went away.  They shared moments like this for months and months.  As time went on they began to fall in love and shared time of peace and tranquility.  Jebous felt the void of love begin to disappear.

Tate had finished her rule book without Jebous knowing about it.  She had to do it while he slept.  She also had to write about things that happened to her, things she was feeling, kind of like a journal.  One night while Jebous slept, she began writing about a ham sandwich, she wrote about it thinking what it would be like to be one.
