This short story will describe the incredible life of a man called Captain Lou Albano.

 Louis Vincent Albano, also known by his ringname Captain Lou Albano died today(14.10.09) at the age of 76.
He has been a proffesional wrestler, a manager and a actor. Some people knew him by his long beard, rubberband facial piercings or his loud outfits, but most know him by being the Rock ‘n’ Wrestling connection.
He helped usher to succeed in wrestling with a mainstream audience.  After making profit by usher he took part in many films, TV shows and music projects in Hollywood.After puting money on his new found celebrity, he started appearing in many TV shows and films. In the late 80’s Albano appeared in Hulk Hogan’s Rock ‘n’ Wrestling, 227, Miami Vice, Hey Dude, Brian De Palma’s Wiseguys and the wrestling movie Body Slam. He expended into music and performed with the rockgroup “NRBQ”. In March 1989, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, Albano had his trademark beard shaved on the air to star as the iconic video game character Mario in The Super Mario Bros.

 He was born in New York, Mount Vernon in July 29, 1933. He finished the Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, New York. After getting a football scholarship to the University of Tennessee he left that school and joined the army. He got interested in WWF while he was working in a bar and met two WWF performers there. His wrestling carreer kicked off by defeating Bob Lazaro in 1953.
 During the 1990’s Louis lost 70 kg’s following a health scare. He also suffered from a heart attack in 2005 but he recovered fast.

 In 2008 he published his autobiography, “Often Imitated, Never Duplicated”.
 He has been  thought to be the most charismatic member of the WWF “Hall Of Fame”, and he had the biggest effect on wrestling, because he turned it into a pop-culture phenomenon.
