there is a kid maybe 15 or 16,
he wonders why does nobody like me,
he goes to school everyday,
and still noone wants to play,
so now he is a troubled kid,
who only wants to fit in,
he tries drugs and does bad things,
jus to be friends with this gang,
one of his friends kills a guy,
that lil kid saw him die,
now he is involved with the cops,
and gets blamed to be the one that shot,
as he sits in jail he wonders,
why did i go with them,
now im doomed to be in here,
until one day he saw his peer,
as he walked up the boy ran,
and as he looked back he saw another man,
behind him was a big white man,
he leaned down and said,
do u need a hand?,
the boy looked up in surprise,
to see this big white guy,
he told the man no sir,
i jus want to cut his throat,
the man said dont do that,
its over with and i kno ur sad,
but killing him wont change it,
only if u pray to ur savior,
the man handed him a bible,
and the boy looked and said,
why should i? i lost everything,
im in jail and im not getting out,
i know all this without a doubt,
the man said you will be surprised,
how the good lord changes lifes,
so he went back to his cell,
and opened the bible and read,
a month passed and the boy was different,
he saw life different it made sense,
he saw his peer from before,
the one who got him in trouble before,
instead of fighting or cuttin his throat,
he walked up and said, I let it go,
now the boy is out of jail,
when he got out he was 30 years old,
he was lucky that he made payroll,
the people in that jury was changed that day,
to see a man who loved his faith,
now the boy isnt a kid,
and he isnt as lonely as back then,
sure he may not have friends,
but overall he is in god’s hands.
