Looking up, I noticed that there was a brilliant sun in the distance. Yet, I could feel refreshing raindrops hit my face. To my delight, in front of my face was a beautiful array of spectacular colours. The magnificent rainbow extended far beyond the eye could see. I thought to myself how amazing it was to feel these cool, refreshing water drops transcending from the heavenly skies above. Suddenly, the raindrops started pounding down with great force, saturating the dry soils as if the flowers and grass were heaving a sigh of relief and gratitude to the skies above. I was too. I couldn’t wait to swim in the rain. I quickly changed into my swimming costume before running out and jumping into the river. I swam down the river, following the bends until I saw a group of pure blue dolphins who seemed to be trying to guide me somewhere. I decided to go with the flow.

They kept pushing me until we reached a spot where the water glimmered in the sunlight. The dolphins signalled that I should dive down into the water. One dolphin dropped a mask over my head. The dolphins then left and I began diving. The mask allowed me to breathe underwater. I continued swimming, deeper and deeper. Finally, I stopped and gasped in surprise. I saw a large golden palace, with a huge sign saying, “THE LOST CITY OF ATLANTIS IS BACK.” I knocked on the front door, terrified. A man opened the door. “Welcome! Go up three flights of stairs. Enter the third door on your right,” he said in a high, raspy voice. I began walking, afraid to object.

I walked until I finally got to the third floor. I knocked on the door until someone said, “Enter.” When I walked in, a man greeted me. The people here all had slightly green skin.
“Hello and Welcome. I am Leo. We are the people who drowned when the city of Atlantis went underwater. We live happily here, away from the catastrophes aboveground. We have found ways to live underwater. Algae has been our energy, our food, our nutrition, and our life, which has resulted in our green, but healthy skin. The man that is the cause of our survival went aboveground to see if he could get some ideas to improve our lifestyle. When he went up, he was carrying a book with all of our secrets to survival. His name is Antoine and he never came back; we need you to go find him. He was going to go speak with your neighbour, David Zimmerman. We cannot go because our green skin will draw attention.”
