This missionary shifted to a dimensions where religion and government are one.

The fight against state-run religions or religions that run governments is still going on today.  Back when Mendran Faber left the seminary in 1830, people trusted spiritual men to run the government in America.  But today in Iran, the Muslim religion runs the government and allows the elected officials to do only so much.

Mendran chose a female biosyn and named her Bay.  He shifted to a dimension where a religion controlled the government as it had for nearly 300 years.  It had its own holy book called the Book of Enlightenment and its own leader called the Supreme Enlightened One.   Mendran had studied the book in seminary and knew it inside and out and knew the errors.  His knowledge would be helpful when he confronted people of the Enlightenment.

Mendran and Bay drove a truck and car into the city of Gorganfee and parked in the parking garage of the Registration Office.  Instead of going to the real estate offices first, Mendran and Bay had to be registered in the Office of Temple Assignment where the government would assign them a place to serve before they could buy a home to live in.  Once that was done, the couple took the elevator up a floor to the real estate office where they were offered a choice between three houses in the neighborhood where the temple was located.  They chose a small house that was sold to them for 50,000 denarus.

After unloading the truck at the house, the couple traveled a few blocks to the temple which was huge.  At least 10,000 people could be seated in the main auditorium.  They talked with the priest Dorvan Koor who was getting up in years in his office.

“God bless you this afternoon,” he told the couple.  They returned the greeting and sat in chairs in front of the man’s desk.  “First assignment?”

“Yes,” said Mendran.  “We want to serve God wherever he leads.   My wife loves children and could best serve teaching little children; three to five year-olds.”

“My wife will be happy to have her do that.  She’s as old as I am and can’t keep up with those little brats.”

“I could teach them Bible stories,” she offered.  The priest’s eyebrows were raised.
