This missionary is shifted to a dimension where a mythical lost race of people exists.
One afternoon while Nallon and Monston were out hunting game with some villagers, a man dressed in a shiny white jumpsuit appeared in front of him.
“Sorry to interrupt you while you’re hunting. But we have been observing you and your partners since you arrived in Pago Re from an adjacent dimension. We know you have that technology, though you need equipment to do what we can do naturally.”
“You are a member of the Tonanbray.”
“Very perceptive. We find you and your synthetics are worthy of our friendship and assistance if ever you require our help.”
“Thank-you, sir. Are your people believers?”
“We have been God’s children for centuries ever since before we shifted to an adjacent dimension to observe people in this one. I admire how you have more concern for simple people than for discovering us. Many in the past have tried to discover us but have failed. But you, on the other hand, have decided to reach those simple people with the Gospel. You shall be rewarded in this life and in the next.”
“Do you really have God-like power?”
“To simple people, we are gods. But to you and your synthetics, we are not much more advanced than you are except for one thing. We are enhanced. We are all immortals and like you, we have seen people in Hell and in Heaven. I perceive that you will remain out here in the middle of nowhere spreading the Gospel.”
“Of course. I’ve been rejuvenated and I’m ready to serve God until he calls me to Heaven. I don’t want to leave the jungles of this world until God tells me it’s time to go.”
“That’s what I wanted to hear from you. I won’t keep you from the hunt any longer. I just want to thank you for opening your heart to these people and others. God will certainly bless you for your efforts.”
“I’m sure he will.”
Nallon and his synthetics are still out there in the jungles of that dimension and have met people of the Tonanbray from time to time. But they are more concerned about the lost that need a Savior. The man they met in the interior department has long since been sent home and replaced twice. He thought Nallon and his synthetics were lost. But when news about him and his team reaching the tribes with the Gospel reached the man back in his home country of Gorange and no news about discovering the Tonanbray followed, he smiled and thought Nallon was a failure. But in the eyes of God, he was one of the most successful men in that dimension.
