This missionary is shifted to a dimension where he needs to compete with people from other religions to make Christianity the official accepted religion in that warld.

Not all civilizations could go from polytheism to monotheism suddenly like the Roman Empire did when Constantine was supposedly converted to Christianity due to a vision of the cross before the Battle of Milvian Bridge in 312.  He may have been a Christian before that but not a committed one.  But after the victory there, Christianity was adopted as the state religion.

A similar thing was happening in a dimension where Indran Fueler wanted to serve God.  When he left the seminary in 1860 he shifted to a dimension where the ruler of an empire was wanting guidance as to what religion should be the dominant one in his kingdom.  Indran shifted there with his biosyn wife Emmena and his equipment he would need on the field.

The Branglian Empire had existed for over 700 years and had come out of the chaos of the Dark Times after the fall of the Tsulian Empire which controlled 2/3 of the world.  For over 300 years there was constant fighting and wars that pitted kingdom against kingdom until Haosfran Brangli unified three kingdoms under his command at the Battle of Hoshtran against two larger kingdoms.  He split up his forces into three groups that drove the armies of the two larger kingdoms into a valley near the city of Hoshtran and then attacked them from the hills with heavy weapons consisting of catapults, ballistas, and cannons which had never before been used in battle.  The use of cannons was the deciding factor in the battle which helped form the Branglian Empire under Emperor Haosfran Brangli.

He was able to win more battles and take more kingdoms until his empire was nearly as large as the Tsulian Empire had been.  The warrior tribes in the East refused to be joined to the Empire as they had during the time of the Tsulian Empire.  But they promised not to try and invade the new empire because they knew they could be crushed by the new emperor and his massive army.  Haosfran was also tired of fighting and wanted to improve his empire for the good of the people.  In time the warrior tribes settled for peaceful coexistence.

For centuries, the Branglian Empire worshipped a multitude of gods and goddesses.  But with nations surrounding the Empire converting to a multitude of monotheistic religions, the people wanted to do away with the worship of many gods and convert to a religion that worshipped only one.  But the people and the Emperor, Jurnan Brangli, didn’t know which religion to embrace and adopt as the official religion of the Empire.
