This missionary shifts to a dimension where terrorism plagues society.
For a few decades on both sides of the 20th century there was an anarchist movement that plagued society. They killed the rich and powerful as well as average people. Angren Reeves purposely chose to go to a dimension where terrorists almost paralyzed society. He wanted to put God to the test. Could God triumph over people who were glad to do Satan’s bidding thinking they were actually in the right?
When Angren left the seminary in 1899 he shifted to the dimension with a male biosyn because he feared a female one might be too frail to withstand any abuse that might come their way. He also brought with him the usual equipment along with some multi-mode pistols and thousands of steel projectiles in case he had to fight off terrorists that may attack him.
Angren and Vell his biosyn arrived in the city of Hoshnivar which was a frequent target of terrorist attacks by a group that called itself God’s Warriors. It was made up of radical members of a religion called Sonjeenism which was started by a man named Bangren Sonjeen in the country of Morayven over 1500 years ago. He believed an angel had given him holy writings from God which he called The Revelation of Truth. It claimed that the only way to God was by living a life pleasing to God that followed various commandments.
One commandment out of the nearly 3000 commandments given in the book was that infidels that refused to obey the commandments of God given in The Revelation of Truth had to be dealt with in an appropriate manner. That could mean praying for them or killing them. It depended on what a person thought was the appropriate action. With most people in the world unwilling to honor the book, terrorism was consider an appropriate action.
Sonjeenism was a rapidly growing religion because its followers viewed infidels as deserving punishment and that those who fought infidels would be blessed by God. Those who died for God would go to be with him. If they could live at peace surrounded by infidels and not give into the ways of infidels, they could consider themselves God’s children.
Most people of the book, as they often referred to themselves as, lived peaceful lives. They even treated infidels decently. Butthey tried not to become close friends with infidels for fear they might influence them to turn from Sonjeenism.
