“I want you to come to Plisees Prime so that you can set up duplication and replication of slaves and start the long task of liberating the slaves in this empire.  I know it can’t be done overnight without upsetting so many things and potentially destroying society.  But if the transition is done smoothly, maybe in another decade there will be no human slaves in the Pliseesium Empire. 

“As I speak, the elected and selected officials of the Governmental Council is drafting laws to abolish slavery within the next decade.  What is being done immediately is the discontinuation of slave sales on the planet of Brankenforn.  The same thing will occur on other planets.  All those with slaves now will have the option of retaining their servants or exchanging them for duplicates at no cost to them.  We won’t force them to exchange their slaves for synthetics.  In fact, some slaves may not want to be be exchanged.  But I trust that in the future, slavery will be abolished.  Thank-you, Mr. Gangst.  Keep up the good work.”

It took less than eight years for slavery to be abolished.  The cards and implants were still the law since they were a convenient way to keep track of people.  But at least if someone lost their card or if their implants were removed, it wasn’t a crime.  They just didn’t have the chance to take advantage of government services as in the past.  Most people chose to retain their cards and implants.  But some, mainly former slaves, got rid of their cards and implants.  Ulnor and his synthetics did that. 

For over seven decades, Ulner helped reach the lost and help in the transition away from human servitude to synthetic servitude.  But after he was rejuvenated, he helped liberate synthetics which was easier to do since the Empire already had freed human slaves.  He will continue his efforts to liberate souls and lives, even synthetic ones, until God tells him his work is done and he must shift to the Heavenly dimension and his eternal home there.
