A short story by wchow1.

One day on a summer’s day I was walking from school when I found a four leave clover. I wasn’t one of those people who are superstitious but I picked it up anyway. Once I arrived home I noticed there were noises coming from the well. So I lifted the bucket up, there was a strange bottle like thing in the bucket and had a mystical glow. I wasn’t sure what it was but I took it to my room. I left it on my desk and started playing wii sports on the Nintendo wii and I accidentally bumped the bottle. It fell on the ground and dusk like thing fell out of it.I quickly put the bottle straight way up. I examined the dust it smelled like jasmine. I accidently got some on my hand so I wiped it on a towel, suddenly when I put the towel down it came to life and floated. I could not believe my eyes, what happened to the towel. I took a moment to think and thought what if this is a magical bottle and this is magic dust. That whole night I could not sleep I just kept wondering and thinking what that bottle was capable of.

The next day after dreaming about it and thinking it through for one hour I tried it, I held the bottle in my hands and wished for five bucks, I didn’t want to wish for anything big in case it disappears or something. After about ten seconds I blinked and upon my desk was the five bucks. Was this a coincidence or was this bottle truly magical. After a few hours I went to watch TV and unaware that I had a little magic dust on my hand. I turned on the TV and it was showing Merlin, a dragon was on the screen when suddenly the house started to shake. Something was coming out of the TV, I quickly ran out of the house and ran away from it. I turned back and looked to see my house become demolished by a dragon!  I ran to the police department and told them the story but no one believed me, they all thought I was hallucinating. It was up to me to save the city, I didn’t bring the bottle so I had to run home and see if the bottle still remained in one piece.
