In his latest adventure he finds the Onyx of Jasinny…a rare stone sought by many who want to understand its mystery. Young readers will be drawn into the life of Ben and his life of adventure.

The air was quiet as Ben walked along the night, “Why do I even try? A slum like me would never get into the CorSec-Inter LSF.” He murmured. The Corsec-Inter LSF, which stood for Loyal Soldier Force, was a branch of the Argobo County in Tennessee. Rumor has it that there was a soldier named Jim Jasinny, who hid a very powerful Onyx. After his death from a threat to not tell where it was, LSF began to search the Earth for it, proving loyalty. Many soldiers died of their search and are worried what happens to the living. Ben’s cell phone rang, it was Lucy. “Lucy, you know I am on a midnight walk and would like to be alone, right?” Ben said. “I know I’m sorry, just that I was watching the news, and coyotes have been spotted, by Arcojas lane.” The twenty-three year-old said. “That’s where I am, just at the turn about to head down the-” Ben dropped his phone. Oh boy, this will be a tough fight, come on, I’m Twenty-Six, I can take him. Ben thought to himself. “Ben! Hello, you there?” Lucy said, worriedly. Lucy heard a growl and a scream, so she grabbed another phone and started dialing the cops. “C’mon dumb coyote, you’re better than that, or I would be dead, right wait no you would.” Ben teased. The cops came down to find out it was true and stunned the poor coyote. “You alright, kid? We got a call from Lucy Lorenson. Is she your sister?” The cop asked. “Yep, she cares too much, but girls are unpredictable!” Ben chuckled. “Wait a sec, you’re a good, no real good, comedian, for me anyway, uh Corsec-Inter LSF needs one for when there just about to go to patrol the city or capture a criminal, or well you get the point, so you want to join?” The cop asked. “Oh my, well, maybe I should think… Okay, when do I start?” Ben asked. Ben was invited into the cop’s car. “Yes Lucy, I am safe, and yup I got a job.” Ben said on the phone to Lucy. The next day the cop picked him up. Lucy sighed and called her friend, Jenny. “Ben is in the LSF, a comedian though, not funny to me, but, that’s me.” Lucy said. “Ah, well at least he is in-” Lucy cut Jenny off when she got a call from the police station; there was an explosion at the site, “Police station Five-Zero-Seven, Waltosa street.” Then the cop hung up. Lucy grabbed her keys and launched her car without letting it warm up to the police station. She saw Jenny was there and had seen it from her house. “He is over here.”  She said. “Ben, Ben what happened? Are you hurt?” Lucy said. Ben coughed as he spoke, “Yes, yes I just need to stay here for a bit, maybe go home, is Sergeant Brasolen okay?” Ben asked. Peter Brasolen was the cop that Ben carpooled with. “I’m here.” Brasolen said, walking up to him. As Ben sat up he decided to go back down. “Take it easy, that was a bomber, I don’t know what their problem was but they were suicide Bomber.” Brasolen said. “They, Who is they?”  Ben mumbled to himself. “What’s that?” Lucy said. “Nothing,” Ben said. “How many bombers are there?” “Ten, luckily, not all them were suicide, one bombed and flew away. Perhaps it was-” Brasolen was cut off by Ben, “…That they found a clue to the Onyx.” “Uh, look this whole Onyx thing is getting annoying.” Lucy said. “Uh yeah, what she said. Hey Lucy, want to go grab a smoothie?” Jenny said. Lucy nodded and they walked away. “Sergeant Brasolen, what do we do now?” Ben asked. “Well by that coordinate location ending point from that living Bomber, maybe we can catch up and get the map they found, oh and call me Peter, Ben.” Brasolen said. “Uh okay, so Peter, let’s get in your car and get on. Never know when those clouds of smoke will end.” Ben said. One hour passed, and they arrived at an area with a plenty of tents, and the bomber. “Terrorist?” Ben asked? “Yes, the bomber was one, but there are more here, than just him.” Peter said. “I hope your wrong…” Ben said. But Peter was right. They snuck past them to find a half dug hole. “Holes mark the spot, here anyway.” Ben said, very firm. They dug slowly, quietly and carefully. “We are going to be rich.” Ben whispered. “Maybe, let’s get out of here before they know its missing and see us.” Peter whispered back. They were almost to the car when a terrorist came charging at them, very angry. “Get it in and you hop in!” Peter yelled. More terrorists came. “Get in!” Peter screamed. They were just lucky again as they escaped. “Luck, such great honor to have it isn’t it?” Peter asked. “Luck eh? Hmm, well honestly I don’t believe that luck exists.”  Ben answered. Peter sighed, “Ben, man not many people like or believe in luck, so at least play along. By the way, I think we lost them on Chanapals Avenue.” Peter said. Ben pulled out his cell phone and dialed Lucy. “…Get my cell. Hello. Ben?” She said. “Mm hmm, right with you, Peter. Oh, Lucy I’m fine and all that, but guess what we found, the-” Ben was cut off by Lucy, “Onyx. Why? You could have died.” Lucy said. “I know, but look were going to go to the police station, I think it’s repaired.” Ben said and hung up. They gave the police station the Onyx. Lucky for them, the police were armed and terrorists attacked. “Get them all locked up.” A police said, as it was over.  The Onyx had gotten lost. “Here it is the Onyx is under the table… Here you go.” Ben said. Ben gave the Onyx to Peter, “I still can’t believe that we found this!” Peter said. One of the cops took it. “Wow, this is great!” The cop said. “I know!” Peter said. “No, that you fell for the trick, see you guys later, I’m a terrorist, I like to be called Helpers though, see you!” The fake cop said. “So much for fame…” Ben mumbled. “Don’t worry, fame or no fame, we will get it back, on our own, no one can be trusted.” The Sergeant said. Again, why is the Onyx so important? Ben thought to himself. “Its importance is that is a rare item, and buried over fifteen years ago, by a great soldier!” Peter said, as if he read Ben’s mind. “Let’s get going to the camp, I have a bad feeling, and it was sort of theirs, but I just have the urge.” Ben said. “Maybe tomorrow, we need to get some rest, let’s get going.” Peter said. So Ben and Peter went to their houses and got some rest. “Ben, Ben, its One in the morning, where have you been?” Lucy said. “None of your concern and none of your business, okay?” Ben said. He got on the couch and tried to sleep. “I wish we didn’t have to share a condo, I mean I’m twenty-three and your twenty-six, and we don’t even get separate rooms! Speaking of rooms, when are you going to fix the bottom bunk, I don’t want to sleep on the top.” Lucy said. “Later, and please let me rest…” Ben said, very tired. Lucy sighed and went in another room as Ben began to snore quietly. The next day, Ben got dressed and all ready. He went outside and met with Peter. “What if Argobo had volcanoes!” Peter said. “Well that would be pretty cool.” Ben said. “Huh, too bad we do! See over their?” Peter said. “Wow, wait, isn’t that the terrorist with the…Onyx!” Ben yelled. They got in Ben’s car. “Vroom vroom, boom, there the jets I modified go.” Ben said.  “W… what, you modified a c…car!” Peter said, very terrified. “It’s legal, well okay it isn’t what I installed, but I talked to the President of the United States of America.” Ben said. “Yeah and I arrested the great black beard, he is alive.” Peter murmured. “What’s that?” Ben said. Peter didn’t answer and Ben knew he wouldn’t and sighed. “Fine I’ll lower the fuel booster if it scares you to death.” Ben said as he turned the fuel booster down. “Fuel booster? I’ve never heard of it, this wasn’t the modified item was it?” Peter said. “Yeah it is.” Ben said. They got to the volcano. “It seems so strange that there is a volcano here, isn’t it?” Ben asked. “Yeah,” Peter said, “Well looks like it’s too steep, let’s get out and climb it, we can walk, and it’s just too steep to drive up.” As they got out Ben’s cell phone rang. “Hello?” Ben asked. “Ben, Lucy is worried sick-” The caller was cut off by Ben, “Jenny? Uh, look, tell her I’m fine okay, bye.” Ben said and hung up. Peter and Ben started to sweat. “What is he doing?” Peter asked. “I don’t know, good thing we’re almost there.” Ben said. “It’s melting…” The terrorist said. “Freeze, buddy if you drop that you will be very sorry, wait, no!” Peter yelled. “Suckers, see you LSF later!” The terrorist yelled. “Great, he dropped it; let’s hope it’s not an active volcano.” Ben said. “I’ll go.” Peter said. He slowly began walking down it when he saw something red. “Uh oh, Ben, get in the car and warm it up!” Peter screamed. Ben shrugged and turned on the car and Peter came gushing down the volcano’s side. “Go!” Peter yelled. “Stop yelling, I will go, why are you in a hurry? Why is- I’m on it!” Ben said. They bumped up and down as the red lava took anything in its way. They screamed until it slowed down. “The, the Onyx, it’s here! It’s flowing in the…Lava!” Ben exclaimed. “The Onyx was also a big deal because it is invincible, here it’s going to the side, let me just grab it carefully.” Peter said. Peter got out of the car and carefully grabbed it when the lava became faster than it was earlier. “Step on it!” Peter growled. “Say it nicely and I will, never mind…” Ben said until he saw the lava. They drove until the lava dried and they went to Ben’s condo. “Ben, Sergeant Brasolen, there was a car up there and the lava exploded from the volcano and, well never mind, you okay Ben, Sergeant Brasolen?” Lucy said. “Yeah, Lucy, we’re fine, the Onyx is safely in our hands, and we had the real cops take care of the terror… I mean the bad guys that tried to get their own politics.” Ben said. “Actually we haven’t.” Peter whispered to Ben as he dialed walking into another room. “Jenny! Come down here, they owe you fifteen dollars! Oh, Ben I put you in a bet that Jenny would be here before you, and well, you owe her fifteen dollars.” Lucy said. Ben mumbled to himself as he walked into another room pulling out his wallet. “Okay, thank you. Bye.” Peter said on the phone and hung up. “Where’s Ben?” He asked. Lucy pointed to a room and he entered. Jenny left and started talking to Lucy. “Next time that girl puts me in a bet, she will be totally busted.” Ben said. “Take it easy, the police are taking care of the terrorists, so I got to go help them, I’ll see you around.”  Peter said. Four hours after Peter left, it was night, and Ben told Lucy that he would take a walk. “I can’t believe it, I got the Onyx of Jasinny, and I even became a CorSec-LSF comedian.” Ben mumbled. He saw the stunned coyote, and five days ago, he was stunned, apparently it had lasted a long time. It was actually starting to wake up. Ben crouched down and patted the coyotes head. “All because of you, I got the Onyx, joined the LSF, and best of all, a good adventure.” Ben whispered to the coyote. He got up and walked away, when the coyote ran up to Ben and started following and playing with him. “Easy boy, I think I’ll call you Giver.” Ben took Giver to this small wooded area behind his condo and made a little house for him, and put a sign saying no hunting pet coyote. Then Ben went inside and told Lucy about Giver. “What? A pet coyote, you’re insane! You’ll get killed, and most of all, it’s behind the building! Well, then again I guess I shouldn’t care too much and worry about you, and bet you without you agreeing or even knowing.” Lucy said. “Its okay, Giver is playful, I walked down the street and he came running for me.” Ben said. “Oh, okay. Well let’s get some rest, I’m very tired.” Lucy said. “I agree, see you in the morning!” Ben said and came back and fixed Lucy’s bunk. “Thanks.” She said. They both slept, and Ben didn’t snore at all.
