Part four of my short story, "The Outer Limits Story"

As I said before. This Outer Limits guy is one strange dude. And his skin seemed to be much greener than it was yesterday. His skin conditioning must be getting worse. Note to self: Don’t touch Outer Limits.

Walking home from school with my headphones blasting, dark rain clouds began forming to take the blue sky hostage and replace it with a gloomy grey. What started out as a drizzle, later turned into a downpour which forced me to run for cover so I wouldn’t get soaking wet. Racing through the woods, as I hopped over branches and log lying on the leafy ground, I see a bright white light shining in the distance. I couldn’t have been more freaked out, although my curiousity pushed me to go forward to investigate and scope out the scene. Digging through the woods, my jaw dropped in utter disbelief as I witnessed a giant space craft hovering in the air. A rampway rolls out of the spaceship onto the grass.

And who do I see walking up the rampway into the spaceship?

Outer. Limits.

As Outer Limits walks up the rampway, his head turns and notices me. I quickly duck my head and hide behind a bush. I knew he saw me, and it scared the hell out of me. I found out his secret. I found out that he was an exterrestrial alien sent to earth for some unknown reason, and he was disguising himself as a sixteen year old high school student who is part of the wrestling team. None of this made sense. Why an alien would be on earth disguised as a high school student baffled me.

And although none of this made sense…at the same time it made some things more clear. Outer Limits being an alien made it clear why he was so anti social around people. It made it clear why his skin was so vividly green, why his eyes were black gaping holes, and it explained the unusual writings in his notebook.

Once I got home, all I could think about were the events that unfolded in front of my eyes, and what might happen tomorrow at school when/if I bump into Outer Limits again. As I said before, I was never a person who tried to be a loner. It just kinda happened. Same deal with this UFO thing. I never went out of my way seeking to uncover crazy conspiracies. But I ended up stumbling on some unintentionally. There are people who try to hunt UFO’s and aliens for years, and they still never see one. But here I am today, with memories of events that I’ll never forget. Memories of supernatural events that I’m dieing to tell people, but I can’t tell anyone because they would laugh me out of the school.

Tomorrow should be an interesting school day.
