A short that I wrote.
As the rain drizzles onto your beautiful face I could still hear the beat of the kick drum from inside the club. But that didn’t matter anymore. All I could think of is how amazing you looked under the lights of the parking lot. With your hair wet and your eyes glistening more than the rain on the street, you were irresistible to me. As I held you to keep you warm my heart was racing. I could feel the heat between us building as if there was a fire there. Feeling my fingers run through the back of your hair was the last thing I could take. I knew I had to do it. With nerves tensing and blood racing, I slowly leaned towards your beautiful lips. Pulling you closer, wanting to be one with you for even a moment I made my move. When our lips met it was more intense than I could have imagined. So soft and warm, they were perfect! I couldn’t believe I had waited this long to kiss you. I did not want to let go. Feeling you this close was a feeling I had never felt. As we kissed long and slow, I remember sliding my hand to your cheek and feeling your skin. Perfect and so smooth, it felt like silk. I am not sure if the goose bumps were from the cold rain or the passion between us but one thing I can tell you is that I had them too and they were not from the rain!
