It’s like a big mirror…
Sarah was starting to get worried. Ding… Ding… The clock strikes nine. Nine… Nine… Nothing happened. If anything was going to happen, it must’ve already happened, and this was “it”. Sarah decided to go home, and see if she could get a phone signal from home.
She approached her car. She opened the left front car door, the driver’s door, and jumped in. The driving wheel was on the other side of the car… what the hell? Why was the steering wheel on the other side of the car? Dazzled, Sarah went on the other side of the car. Instead of the place where you insert your keys into the car to get it started being on the right side of the steering wheel, it was now on the left. “What is this… opposite land?” Sarah whispered to herself, not that there was anyone to hide a voice from.
The car started. She drove home, flooded by backwards writing along the way, mostly on advertising signs. Hell, even the numbers on her apartment door were backwards. And the position where the handle was on the door. EVERYTHING WAS. The phone was also out.
Sarah knew she had to stay cool. Don’t worry, it’s just the fact that the world is deserted and everything is backwards after receiving a strange phone call. I mean, doesn’t it happen to everyone? Sarcasm apparently didn’t make her feel any better.
Even though it was just 9 in the morning, she went to sleep. Hell, maybe in this crazy place where she now was you slept in the day. She fell into a deep sleep, and woke up at 3 by the sound of a ringing phone. RING… Ring…. ring…. She answered the phone, confused, seeing as it was out just 6 hours ago. The deep husky voice, same as the person who rung her before, started talking. “Meet me at the train station in exactly one hour.” Then they hung up. Sarah would probably go mad if she stayed living like this, so what does she have to lose?
