The Pulsation of Excellence.

Striving to be superior with emphasis on self esteem and fulfillment in one’s desires. That’s the way it is and where you are heading. The thought of theology, and how the distinction of theory can expel into academics and make you dynamic. The idea of dynamics in unleashing your inner captivity soul with unlimited options. It’s like the Paul Revere ride, but instead of the British are coming, here are the graduates of today with ambitions of their own.

It was June 6, 1982, where Dr. Samuel Brown, who has a PhD in the ”Evolution of Education” from a Ivy League University of Princeton. Education revolving in what persuaded him to pursue his Doctoral degree in education, and stressing his best in being the test. However, on this day of June 6, 1982, Dr. Brown was the keynote speaker at Walter Cronkite University in the convocation of thousands of graduates in varying degrees and majors.

His speech was on the influence of education, and how it will be transpired into their everyday lives. Dr. Brown quoted words from Benjamin Franklin, Langston Hughes and many other scholars that came before him. It was his words of assurance and possibilities with guarantee in being their first step in their educational walkway that they will be embarking.

Dr. Brown’s speech, “Aim for the top and with precision on the bull’s eye, and making sure you can see the top as you must have a vision in your own horizon connecting to your potential”. The motto, “Be wise as an owl, Sharp as a Fox, and with the quickness of a Greyhound dog”. Motivation comes from within and not so much from sources, but be steadfast in your momentum, and strive on goals you have set and will meet. It means making sure the timing is right and precise. Be the cutting edge and sharp at any moment with your own sense of tenderizer of aspirations. Making sure you have done your homework and careful research. Then he instructed all the graduates to stand on their feet and look at all the parents in the audience, and the graduates applauded. It was now time for the parent to stand and applaud the graduates for listening to their parents in the education mode. It was a proud moment for all, and a job well done by the University.

Dr. Brown then finished up his speech with these parting words, “As you leave Walter Cronkite University, let this day be your own Alma Mater as you are the end product of the University, as many graduates that passed before you and after. You are the graduates who will make a difference. Remember the lectures given by your Professors, and the many themes they presented in helping you become successful. Tomorrow is only a minute, and the hour is a life time of your whole life in whatever endeavors you have set forth”. Right after that, the entire auditorium was on their feet in a standing ovation and plentiful of applause. Then it was time for the throwing up of the graduation cap like West Point style, and with a captured Kodak moment within the mind. The graduates then marched out row by row as another graduation has come and gone as the University’s eagles are heading for their varying destinations. A final quote from a Greyhound Corporation Secretary, “Learn all you can, then go out and use what you learned”.
