Part one of the series.

Tuesday 24th November 07:00pm

When I got there, the guys started cracking open drinks and I headed for the loo. Opening the door, I found Jason waiting for me on the other side.

“Tell me the truth; has anything happened between you and my brother?” He asked.

“I…I don’t know what you mean.”

“Don’t give me that shit – I’ve seen the way you look at him,” he grumbled menacingly.

I flinched when he swore; I wasn’t exactly used to that from him. I thought it best to just tell him the truth for once and for all, rather than have to worry about keeping it a secret forever.

“We kissed,” I gulped, “we kissed twice, but I swear that’s it.”

“Are you fucking shitting me?!”

“No Jason, I am not…” I took a breath “…shitting you.”

He grabbed my wrist and pushed me against the wall, “So I suppose all that shit you gave me about Claire was just bollocks?”

“No Jason. You hurt me intentionally with Claire and only God knows how many other girls. What happened with your brother was a mistake.”

“A mistake! Girls like you don’t make mistakes like that – at least not twice. To think that all this time I was going out with such a slut. I might have at least gotten laid.”

His face was pressed right up close to mine, and I could feel his hot, angry breath on me.

“Jason, lay off,” I warned.

“Or what? You’ll go after my DAD? Sorry love, but he isn’t home at the moment.”

“I’ m warning you Jason, all I have to do is yell and Kris’ll come running.”

“Really, I wonder why exactly it is he does come running every time you call.”

“What the fuck are you getting at?” It felt good to let it out.

He just shrugged his shoulders and laughed, and then he took a fist up to his mouth, motioning from side to side and poking his tongue through his cheek, gesturing obscenely.
