Not quite the quality I usually put out, but here is a peek at my earliest work. maybe you’ll like it, maybe you wont…but remember, it’s a remnant from when I was in Fourth Grade.

I went on a trip to Europe, to a country called Yugoslavia, and saw a troop of
rocktails! I was coasting a long in my car on an empty gas tank when I looked out of the
windshield, and there I saw it! These little creatures named after people stand waist high.
Here is their speech lesson: O. Ngo. Wa, wa? Ze. Oo! Ho! Ho! He! He!
We caught a Rocktail warrior and put him in a cage, but he broke the bars and
got away. Boy, was he tough!
The rocktail said, He! (that is a war cry!)

Note: For those wondering about the quality of content here, I am simply republishing the earliest of all my stories as a reference point for the readers so they can see how far I have truly come as a writer. I wrote this story when I was in Fourth Grade, and have held onto it ever since. I still have the original published work, a class project, which we got graded on. The story was about a small homemade statue consisting of four painted rocks, three with squirrel tails glue to the tops and painted to look almost human, the fourth painted to look somewhat like a dog and had a zip-tie as the tail. This was the story I came up with. Not bad, for a fourth grader.
