Its the start of a story I’ve been writing, It’s only the first part. It’s more like a science fiction thriller. It’s about a man who is basically taken against his will and experimented on.
Prologue
Sept 1st, 2009
She was absolutely beautiful.
She was the only woman I had ever loved.
And I would never see her again.
I sat on my cot, holding the only thing that kept me going, a small crumpled photo of my wife. The photo was like any other prisoner’s bible. I guess being so far from the person you love, makes you realize their significance. I missed her quirky smile, her radiant blond hair and her mesmerizing blue eyes. She was absolutely everything I could have asked for. Now I was possibly thousands of miles away, looking at her picture in my 6 x 8 prison cell.
It was quiet at this time of night; far off from most of the other prisoners. I liked it though; it allowed me time to think. I was in here because of a group of individuals trying to change what we perceive as life, though I can say some of my choices may have helped my transition into this dark and desolate place. For the most part though it was what they did to me and how they framed me, which got me into place. These people still remain a mystery to me, and it sickens me that I’m stuck here. I am absolutely helpless; I can’t prove my innocence, when I don’t have any evidence of what they did to me, and who they even are. My only chance would be to use what they did to me and break out of this place, but where would I go from there. I would have no idea where to start; where to even look for these people. All I had was one face, and one name.
There was a banging sound. I turned slightly to the right as a stream of light entered the hallway. Tonight I was expecting someone; my attorney. I asked her if she would come by late, because the atmosphere allowed me to think better. I actually didn’t think she would show up, I mean come on what type of lawyer would come by this late for a case like mine.
