Its the start of a story I’ve been writing, It’s only the first part. It’s more like a science fiction thriller. It’s about a man who is basically taken against his will and experimented on.

“Yeah, I’ve made a lot of men cry.” Vanessa looked up at me as she rested in my side. “I love you”

Then it happened, a car collided with the Mustang and Vanessa jerked violently from my side. But I grabbed tightly to her fragile body, and pressed her to mine. The car began to flip and turn, and all I could do was close my eyes and hold on to Vanessa and wish we would make it out all right. Then as the car rolled I felt shards of glass rip into my side and my arms as I shielded Vanessa from any harm. I could hear her breathing and it soothed me. Then it came to a stop, my mind was racing through what had just happened. I could feel the blood on my arms and my side was in agonizing pain.

“Vanessa, are you okay?” was the first thing I could manage to say, pain ripping through my body. I could barely see anything, everything was hazy.

“Yes.” But her voice was very faint. “I don’t think I’m hurt.”

Then my muscles began to relax, and I began to release my grip on Vanessa. “Honey try to maneuver your way out, I’ll be right behind you.” I said as I felt her nod. She fell from my arms and carefully slid herself through the broken driver’s side window. I watched her exit and that’s when I released my safety belt and fell to the ground. Then something grabbed at me and jerked me out of the car through the passenger side window, the asphalt peeled away at my skin as I was dragged, and I yelled. I looked up; it was a bald man in a trench coat, dragging me. Within all the chaos, all I could manage to say was “Why’d you hit us, you asshole!”

He stopped dragging me and forced me to sit up.

“Watch your dream disappear.” He said calmly.

Then he looked at the car, it was lying upside down with its windows broken. Then after a brief second, it exploded. Sending car parts flying all over the road and shattered my eardrums. I looked for Vanessa, and I found her. She was safely tucked away on the shoulder of the road, but she was crying. Then it came to me, she probably still thought I was in the car.

That’s when he hit me. I fell to the ground and stared directly up at him. “Too bad you’ll never get to say goodbye.” he smiled and raised his foot and brought it down with tremendous speed. There was silence.
