"There’s a Pizza Hut down the road. It’s fifteen minutes walk. We can talk safely over there."

Dominic turned around but could not see anyone.

“I must be imagining voices; but it sounded so clear.  Anyway, I’ve got to get out of here.”

“No you’re not imagining anything!”  Suddenly, a young lady appeared.  She was dressed in a long flowing blue dress and had deep jet purple hair.

“Quick, there’s no time to lose.  We must get out of here, fast!”  She grabbed Dominic’s left hand and made her way down the stairs with him.  Eventually, they reached an Exit and made their way out.  Both were out of breath.

“Thank you ever so much.  Do you know, you just saved my life.”

“Well, not quite.”  She replied.  Dominic gave her a quizzical look.

“Er…what does that mean?”   She reached out her right hand towards him and Dominic shook it with his left hand.

“There’s so much I want to tell you, but not here.”  She looked around.

“There’s a Pizza Hut down the road.  It’s fifteen minutes walk.  We can talk safely over there.”

“Safely?”  “Look, I don’t understand.”  She grabbed his left hand and began marching onwards.

At the Pizza Hut, she ordered a cheese and tomato medium size pizza with french fries and two glasses of iced coke.  While they awaited their order, she introduced herself in a soft voice.

“My name is Mardellah and I’m here to save your life from those…hypno-therapists in that building you go to every afternoon.”  Dominic nodded his head and giggled.

“You mean Professor Woods?  He’s such a kind and respectable man.  Infact, they’re all quite hospitable; well, maybe Ian is a bit odd, but…”

“Oh shush!  You sound just like your predecessor.”  Mardella bit her tongue.  It was a slip.

“Predecessor?  You mean to say that there was someone else before me?  Oh please, tell me more!”  The waiter arrived and served their orders and left.  Mardella gazed hard at him.

“Keep your voice down!”  “I might as well tell you.”  “His name was Dylan Forester and he was also under their influence.  Unfortunately, he was never seen again, after Session Six.”  At this point, Dominic had just placed a slice of his pizza in his mouth and suddenly coughed it out on the table.  His eyes grew wide in fear.  Mardella handed him a tissue.  As Dominic wiped it clean, he dropped the tissue on the floor and when he bent down to lift it, everything grew quiet.  And then, as he sat up, he found himself back on the chair at Professor Wood’s surgery.  This time, he was strapped to the chair and Ian was holding a yellow serum.

“Session Four time.  Now keep still, this might hurt just a little bit.”

“Nooo!”  Yelled Dominic as Ian placed the syringe into his right arm.

     End of Chapter Six.

I figured something was off about the professor. Hopefully Dominic will not end up like Dylan. I am off to read the next chapter and I cannot wait to see what happens.
