A story of friendship and remembering the small things in life.

“Do not fear of being alone.” Said Water to Stone.

I will take you far away

Against the pebbles you will lay.”

But I am but one mighty stone,

The pebbles don’t want me, so leave me alone!.”

The water waved and said “Goodbye,

Do not mope and do not cry,

For I will forever run right here,

So don’t be angered or shed a tear,

As for the pebbles that so softly lay,

You forget that you too were a pebble one day.”

The rock astonished decided then,

That he wasn’t alone he had a friend.

“Silly me, for being alone,

My heart was angered full of stone,

I blocked out the pebbles for I came from them,

I am no rose, but they are my stem.”

The water took the stone downstream,

It was like a miracle,

A wanted dream.
