Okay, so here is why I should write children’s stories.
So I was bored a while back and was waiting for someone to pick me up so I could go over their house and while doing that I decided to use my phone to write a story. So I wrote this up as the second longest text message I’ve ever written and sent it to four of my friends. I got responses from three of them and they all seemed to have the same reaction: "What the hell are you on?"
But I can promise you, I was perfectly sober and always have been.
The other friend I sent it to gave me her response the next day at school with a surprisingly strong, trachea crushing strangle-hug. I have a feeling she enjoyed it.
So one out of four oddballs approve of this story.

So, once upon a time there was a man named Armadillo Jack and he lived in a hole. It was a very nice hole seeing as it was built into the side of a cliff in Arizona and had a particularly lovely view of the desert. Now Armadillo Jack had a hobby. This hobby was singing. He’d sing day and night. His dulcet tones were of an enchanting quality and would cause the desert critters to crawl into his cave and dance around him. Jack loved seeing the animals so happy, and wanted to share his gift with people too. There was a town at the base of the cliff, but being a shut in, he was afraid to leave his cave. So he tried singing as loud as he could. But alas, they could not hear him. He tried again, even louder than before and they still couldn’t hear him. Now on the third try, he sucked in a deep breath and belted it out so loud that the townspeople could hear him. And there was much rejoicing. The end.
