The story of
The It’s
Once upon a time in the far world of Noctnal lived a sad little blue It, named Levimatus. He had a short tail, a blue snake like body, and huge eyes. Like all the other It’s Levimatus had a short neck, which had its advantages (like protecting one against the poly wolkins), and its disadvantage: no one of the It’s could reach the tallest Apple Berry trees. When Levimatus awoke this morning, he found all of the small It’s had eaten all the small Apple Berry trees, leaving only the tall trees.
Levimatus poor blue tummy groaned with hunger but there was nothing to eat except; no short Apple Berry trees anywhere. No one could help him, not even his friends or his parents; none could stretch their short necks to the tallest trees.
Life went on and Levimatus lived on the scraps and nourishment of the fallen trees. Every day, he slept with hunger in his stomach. However, Levimatus was not the only with this problem. Soon the trees got smarter, and found out the taller the tree the longer it survives. Each tree worked hard on growing into a tall Apple Berry tree, as fast as possible.
Soon there were no short trees. All of the It’s grew hungrier and hungrier. Even the It’s with the longest necks could not eat. The trees continued to grow, multiplying rapidly now that there was no one to eat them.
As Levimatus slowly grew, eating only twigs of grass, he began to notice something strange. His neck seemed linger than the average It his age. He thought If my neck grows any longer, I should be able to reach the tallest trees. Other It’s began to notice him and his long neck. His neck grew and grew until one day Levimatus could reach the trees.
It happened In the morning. Levimatus decided to stretch his neck to see how far the trees leaves were and found his nose buried in the sweet leaves. He wasted no time at all and excitedly began to show his friends. Everyone marveled at the sight. Levimatus quickly gathered enough food for a splendid feast. All the It’s praised throughout the land for his neck. Levimatus Lived happy through the rest of his life. He had many children all with his distinguishable characteristic: Long necks.
