A short story made for english.

The strange grey blur

Some of the film crew, clearly shocked, stared right through him. This man was clearly dead. He was left hung in the air by a rope around his throat. “AND CUT!” Yelled the director. “Good scene Johnny, it looked like you were actually dead”. There was no reply. “Johnny?… JOHNNY!!” This man was dead.

My name was Johnny Galiano. I lived in Doncaster East, Melbourne. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, there was a warm temperature and there wasn’t a cloud in sight. Perfect day to start an audition. Instead of driving I thought I might walk, I mean it is only a couple of blocks away. When I got to the door I noticed something strange. It was something small but fast. It was like this grey little creature. In the slightest of seconds it vanished in to the shadows of the alleyway. I just ignored it. As I walked in I was greeted by many people including the director. They told me to take a seat and wait until I get called in. Minutes passed by and I started to get nervous. Spots were filling up and I still hadn’t even had my own audition. Finally I got called in. I said my lines I did all the actions and I did everything they asked me to do. I thought I did pretty great. They must’ve thought so to because I got the part. I was now the main character in the upcoming movie ‘The Haunted House’.

It had been 2 days after my audition and I already got a call from the director. ‘Johnny, my main man. Get here asap. The address is 24 Harry court. We’re gonna’ shoot some scenes.” When I arrived I felt a chill up my spine. Sort of like when you’re really creeped out. As I walked in I noticed that the crew had already started setting up props for the scenery around the house. There was something strange about this house. I couldn’t tell what was real and what were fake props. “Ah there you are Johnny” said the Director. “I’d like you to meet our makeup artist Veronica James. Her friend owns this house.” I thought to myself, if I’m going to act in a film at this location I might as well look around the house. As I walked in to each room I started to get Goosebumps. Each room had the same gloomy dull colour, which was kind of creepy. I walked into the kitchen and saw with my both 2 eyes… BLOOD. It was everywhere. On the floor on the fridge on the ceiling. It didn’t bother me though because I thought it was part of the movie. I continued to walk until I was at a dead end. I thought to myself, that’s very strange. I’m pretty sure that’s the direction I came from.
