                    Strike Of The Eagle

A long time ago in America it was a cold night in the Kingdom of Malanor. King Aletease was looking out of the window when he saw a flash of lightning and the shadow of a four winged eagle. The king rubbed his eyes and went back to sleep.

The next morning the king went down to breakfast and started to talk to his son Prince Croniom. “Did you notice anything weird last night,” asked the king.

“No, why?” replied Prince Croniom.

“No reason,” said King Aletease. “Do you know anything about a four winged eagle?”

“No, but you can look it up in the library,” replied the Prince. After breakfast the king went down to the library.

“May I help you” asked the librarian.

“Yes. Do you have anything about a four winged eagle,” asked King Aletease.

“Yes, come this way. What do you want it for, have you seen it because if you have it means danger,” warned the librarian.

The king took the book and went back to his room. The title was named Mythical Creatures. He scanned through the book until he found a picture of a four winged eagle. The book said the creature came from England, how tall it was and things like that.

The next morning the King was woken by his son and the sound of people screaming. The king looked out of the window to see what was going on. He saw a glimpse of gold go across the kingdom and then two houses fell down.

“Sound the alarm” yelled the king.

The prince ran down the hall telling everyone to stay carm. He eventually reached the horn and blew it. A loud noise spread across the Kingdom of Malanor. The king ran to the soldiers and told them to protect everyone and get them in the castle.

Meanwhile in the Kingdom of Enchant a knight named Sereelios was talking to a wizard. “Can you enchant this sword so I can slay a four winged eagle?” asked Sereelios.

“Sure. But it’ll cost you,” replied the wizard.

“How much” asked Sereelios.

“One piece of silver” replied the wizard.

Sereelios handed over one piece of silver then the wizard went to his cupboard and pulled out his wand.

He waved the wand about and said “Make this sword stronger than any other.” A picture of a snake appeared on the blade of the sword.

The day after the eagle struck again. More houses were destroyed but this time it revealed it’s self. The eagle had gold wings and a gold beak and its body sparkled in the sun. All the soldiers came running outside. They started throwing spears at it and firing arrows at it but it didn’t even give it a scratch.

“RETRIET,” yelled the leader of the soldiers. The entire army charged back inside. Just when the eagle was about to hit the castle, someone yelled “stop.”

It was Sereelios! The eagle turned round and charged at Sereelios. Everything went quiet. Just when the eagle was about to hit Sereelios it fell on the floor dead .With a sword in its chest. Everyone ran outside except the king(who walked because of his old age.)

The next day Sereelios became one of the king’s royal Knights and they started rebuilding people’s houses. They had a big meal that night the first one Sereelios had had in days.
