Four travelers find an abandoned run down pirate ship, making their way across the treacherous ocean, crash landed on an island and finding out they not alone, with beasts the size of cattle and an inhumanly race of people, and the carved out rock city far out in the jungle.
The year is 1678 known then as the Golden Age of piracy. Our adventure begins with the four crew mates on an old abandoned pirate ship with a stock hold of gun powder and a cache of weapons all in good condition. Early morning, the air is clean and crisp, seagulls are singing and floating the strong winds that blow and guide them to the open ocean. ” Hey!” screamed Roy in excitement. ” I got one!, he says while pulling the rope to reel in their fishing net. “hold on a second!” as Caya dashes to the aid of Roy who is struggling with the net. While the two are unable to lift the heavy net out of the waters, they feel a great weight being lifted off as Roy turns around and sees Tolmie with a big grin on his face, with a thick Scottish accent ” if you cannot do it all by yourself all had to do was ask you daft lad, and by the looks of it even my own daughter has you beat in the game of tug of war”, ” Ha ha ha” Roy sheepishly says, and mumbles quietly something under his breath catching Tolmies attention right away. “Whats that lad? I didn’t hear ya, I was to busy sizing up this six foot and I’d say five hundred pound blue fin tuna you and my daughter pulled in” Tolmie says with sarcastic wit. “Whats this I hear about blue fin tuna”? ” that’s right my love five hundred pounds of sweet white meat to last at least 20 nights!” Tolmie proudly brags to his wife Godeve. ” Well Roy did help to mom, and rubbed some skin of his hands from the rope”, “Well we better get a look at that right away, we don’t want to cut your hand off do we now?” Godeve says chuckling. “thanks Caya”, “for what Roy”? helping me with the net. “You do need to be more care-full, you could have lost some of your fingers”. ” I know , was to excited and well, was kind of showing off”, ” to who, my father?”, “No, it was you” “Well you don’t have to impress me Roy I already like you”, hitting Roy’s shoulder with a play-full punch. Later that evening while every one is sitting down, With the table and chairs Tolmie and Roy carried up to the deck. Enjoying the perfectly cooked tune with salad, wine jugs and singing cheerfully celebrating their fine feast that Godeve and Tolmie both prepared in the galley. Sipping his wine and looking at what happiness is at the table, while mid sip Tolmie slowly looks towards the ocean, and stares hard squinting his eyes to adjust to the dark night. Slamming his wine glass to the table, startling his wife and daughter. ” Get to the cannons boy!”, Roy looking up at Tolmie with confusion in his eyes. ” NOW!” Tolmie yells out. Roy bolts out of his chair and runs to the already ready cannons and starts loading them with the iron ammo they have piled up besides the cannons to their disposal. “Godeve! Caya!, prepare the weapons, and Roy and I are going to start manning the cannons”. As Caya and her mother start running downstairs to start preparing the weapons a big boom cracks out into the night vibrating the ceiling. ” Mom, is dad and Roy” “just stay with me and get the weapons ready, your father and Roy can take care of themselves until we get back on deck to help”. Another big bang rips across the ocean, this time making contact with whatever was in its path of destruction, “Ya!!” Roy belts out in excitement,” the faint sound of breaking wood could be heard as the other ship takes a direct hit sending several men overboard screaming as their flung violently into the murky waters. ” Its not over yet lad!” echoing his voice over the rippling sound of the cannon that was just fired.
