Lust may SEEM like it’s fulfilling, but it’s a false fulfillment. Although lust may be convenient, the rush never lasts. Love however, is of eternal worth.

Jay was at the library, he was reading a book but periodically he glanced up to notice a woman at the printer. She appeared to be waiting for something, meanwhile Jay noticed she was quite physically attractive. She was young, either late teens or early 20’s at the most, though Jay wasn’t sure.

She looked like a Caucasian/Asian mix, and she was clearly not a local. “Local women are never that attractive” thought Jay as he tried not to stare. He looked her over, not wanting to be too obvious about it. He began desperately looking for a flaw in her physique, some reason to dismiss his temptation to go converse with her.

Suddenly it hit him like lightning, the very fact that he WAS staring at her so wantingly, and knew nothing of her, meant that it was obviously a lust based attraction. He knew better than to give into lust, relationships built on lust at first sight always end badly.

This was reason enough for him not to even open that door.

His habitually carnally minded friends would have called him all sorts of mocking names had they been there with him. Nonetheless Jay resisted his lusts, walking out of the library without even so much as the woman’s number.

He didn’t want a lust based relationship, he would wait for real Love.
