Marie woke up to her phone beeping and a text message from her boyfriend, Max. It said he loved her and wanted to meet her for breakfast in an hour. Marie didn’t want to get up, but she so wanted to meet Max. He had been gone for a week and she missed him so. So she got dressed in blue jeans and pink t shirt, combed her hair, brushed her teeth, and jetted out the door to meet Max for breakfast.

The hostess seated her in a nearby booth and as soon as she was seated, she got another text message from Max saying he was running late and would meet her soon. The server brought Marie a cup of coffee as Marie requested. Marie sipped on the coffee while reading a book and waiting for Max.

The man then told her that he wasn’t coming as he intercepted Max’s number and sent those text messages to her himself. Now Marie was feeling a little uncomfortable as the man wasn’t taking no for an answer. He sat down beside her and made him comfortable.
He ordered breakfast for both of them of eggs, bacon and toast. The man ordered Marie to hurry and eat her breakfast so they could leave. Marie was scared and didn’t know what to do. She just did as the man told her to. When they finished their breakfast, the man paid for the bill and told Marie to show him to her car. He ordered her into the passenger seat as the man got into the driver’s seat and started the engine.
The man drove off to some dark alley near the restaurant. He told Marie to get out and that was when the man pulled a knife on her. And before Marie knew what was happening, the man slit her throat….
