Ecstasy, cocaine, LSD, ketamine, shrooms, DMT, and all the rest followed (staying away from other drugs like heroin and meth).

Before I started using, I had a horrible incurable depression, which was affecting my family, friends, and school work horrendously. I cut myself daily. When I started smoking weed it helped a bit, but not much. I went to a rave one day, and someone gave me my first pill of ecstasy. It changed my life.

It pulled me out of my two year long depression, and showed me the joy in the world. For me it is not an illegal drug I use to get “messed up”, it is an extremely useful and potent medication. I don’t drink alcohol and never will. I never use drugs more than once a month, and my life has been completely on track since I started.

I recently got accepted to one of the top schools in the US on a full scholarship for my academic work. I play sports, I am in a very successful symphony orchestra, and have found the love of my life (together for four years and counting). If the DEA hadn’t made ecstasy a Schedule I drug, I could legally be taking it.

Instead I have to buy tester kits and find reliable people. It doesn’t work for everyone, but it works for me. I am functional, not addicted, and loving every second of life on this beautiful planet.
